LAMP Mission Crucifix
LAMP Ministries is a Catholic lay missionary association, comprised of people who serve among the materially poor, with a focus on evangelization. LAMP’s call has drawn us into the beating Heart of Jesus as that Heart of Compassion embracing those most in need, with our Blessed Mother’s Heart united to His.

"You, Lord, give light to my lamp; my God, You brighten the darkness about me."
                                                                                                - Psalm 18:28

"We exhort all evangelizers, whoever they may be, to pray without ceasing to the Holy Spirit with faith and fervor, and to let themselves prudently be guided by Him as the decisive inspirer of their plans, their initiatives, and their evangelizing activity."
                                                        - Pope Paul VI, Evangeli Nunciando #75

In establishing our Prayer House for the Poor to support our Evangelical call, "the Lord has done great things for us, we are glad indeed!"

The call of faith in prayer pierces the darkness,
the Eucharistic Presence -
His rays of light shattering the icy gloom.
A Prayer House was created,
the Spirit's gracious leading,
prodding floodgates for an evangelical bloom.
